As President, she hopes to give back, and help cultivate the passions of other young writers. She is excited for a great year!

She hopes to publish her own graphic novel someday. As the 2023-2024 secretary she hopes to expand C.W.Y.A to be better known at school and to bring more writers together.

Morgan Hurst
Morgan is a current senior at Coppell High School, and has always deeply enjoyed reading and more recently, writing. They began their passion for literature at a young age, and it's always served as a way of escape and a form of vent for her, especially in hard times. As Vice President, they hope to encourage young writers to explore and share different expressions of writing and truly and enjoy it through an open and welcoming community, and she's excited to teach them the joy of letting loose through words.

Jordyn Morris
Founder; Class of 2021
Jordyn Morris is a current junior at the University of Arizona. Having been a writer for as long as she can remember, Jordyn founded this group her senior year of high school out of a passion for writing and a desire to share that passion with others. She is proud of how many people it has reached thus far and excited to see how it continues to grow! And, nowadays, you can find her helping to run her sorority chapter, leading the campus choir she founded, and—of course—still writing.

Arman Juma
Social Media Manager
Arman is a current senior at Coppell High School. He was an avid reader as a child, and eventually began to write his own stories. He particularly enjoys writing short stories, screenplays, and is currently in the process of writing a novel. This year he would like to help the club to grow and expand its reach to larger audiences.

Manasi Vipat
Cofounder; Class of 2021
Manasi Vipat is a current junior at the University of Texas at Dallas. Being a writer since early middle school, she co-founded this organization her senior year of high school for other writers to have a creative space to share their own passions. She’s seen this organization grow since she graduated, and looks forward to seeing more writers join and discover the big world of writing. If you were to look for her now, you’d see her everywhere on her campus— designing for organizations, setting up events, and, without fail, always writing.
